Mobile crushing across Logan
Recycling King mobilises to Logan for on-site crushing across the growth corridor and the established suburbs. Concrete, brick, rock and asphalt are recovered into compactable road base on site, typically around $10 per tonne, as low as $8 per tonne on higher-tonnage jobs, with every job individually quoted.

Why contractors recycle on site here
Logan produces concrete from two directions at once. The declared priority development areas at Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone, along with Park Ridge, Logan Reserve and Jimboomba, mean new roads, kerb and channel and hardstand going in at scale. At the same time the older suburbs around Beenleigh, Springwood, Woodridge and Browns Plains are being redeveloped and sending slabs, driveways and old pavement back out. Both ends finish the same way: a stockpile of clean hard material and a decision about where it goes.
Subdivision work makes the strongest case for crushing in place, because a job that is about to buy road base is usually standing on the material it could be made from. Winning that material back on site removes the disposal bill, the cartage and the purchase price of imported aggregate in one move, and it does it without the program delay of waiting on a delivery.
Logan sits in the metropolitan levy zone, so material sent away carries the $135 per tonne general waste levy for 2026-27 on top of the gate fee. Logan jobs also feed onto the M1 and the Logan Motorway, so a round trip to a receiving facility burns considerably more truck time than the distance on a map suggests, and that time is charged either way.
Feed has to be clean hard material: concrete, brick, rock and asphalt. Timber, plasterboard and soil are separated out before the crusher arrives. Reinforcement is fine, since steel is liberated during crushing and removed magnetically, and heavily reinforced or oversized demolition sections can go through the Komplet Krokodile first as a two-stage setup.
