Mobile crushing across Brisbane
Recycling King brings the crusher to Brisbane sites rather than making Brisbane truck concrete out of the city. Demolition slab, footings, old pavement and excavation rock are crushed where they sit and stay on site as reusable road base, typically around $10 per tonne, as low as $8 per tonne on higher-tonnage jobs, with every job individually quoted.

Why contractors recycle on site here
Brisbane is the most expensive place in South-East Queensland to get rid of clean concrete. The city sits in the metropolitan levy zone, Level 1, where the Queensland general waste levy is $135 per tonne for the 2026-27 financial year, and gate fees for clean concrete around the city now run beyond $80 per tonne on top of that. Before a single truck moves, the material on your slab already carries a bill.
Then there is the haul. Inner-city Brisbane jobs feed onto the Riverside Expressway, the ICB and the M1 to reach a receiving facility, and a truck stuck in that traffic is charged for the hour whether it is moving or not. On a demolition with real tonnage, cartage frequently costs more than the gate fee it is driving toward. Crushing in place removes the levy, the haul and the return trip for imported base in a single decision.
Space is the usual objection on a Brisbane site, and it is a fair one. The RM 70GO! 2.0 is built for exactly this: it weighs about 24 tonnes, sits under 8 feet wide, travels on a standard float with no oversize classification, escorts or pilot vehicles, and is crushing within about 20 minutes of arriving. It works inside a compact footprint, which is what makes it viable on a tight inner-city demolition where a full quarry-scale plant could not be set up at all.
Reinforcement is not a reason to cart material away either. Steel is liberated as the concrete is processed and pulled out magnetically, and where the material is oversized or heavily reinforced, the Komplet Krokodile takes it first in a two-stage setup before the RM 70GO! 2.0 does the precision crushing. Output is graded in the machine to road base, drainage gravel and 5 mm or 10 mm aggregate, so the product going back into your works is spec-appropriate rather than a pile of rubble.
Every tonne crossing the belt is weighed on the onboard scale, so you are billed on what was actually produced, not an estimate. For Brisbane contractors the arithmetic is usually the same: the concrete you were about to pay to remove is the base you were about to pay to import. We will also tell you when a job does not have enough tonnage in one place to justify bringing plant in.
